Get READY FOR DUCK DODGE!!

The boat now has a new propeller and bottom paint...

Not very exciting, but this is a maxiprop, meaning that it is A. Really expensive, and may impress some people.  It feathers itself when the shaft isn't turning, so it's not this dinnerplate of a brake when the boat is sailing.  Fresh bottom paint simply means less scum.  We (June and Little Pete) buffed the topside with rubbing and polishing compound. --June Whipple earns the right to be on the "A" team now.

Last Goosebumps race-Sunday, Feb. 17th

DUCK DODGE GOOSEBUMPS

The second Goosebumps race finds that the boat goes a LOT better with a little bit of wind. Much better with a LOT of wind. The boat weighs TWELVE TONS, after all.
